Nicola’s most recent body of work Observance has exhibited in Denmark, France, New Zealand, Birmingham, Leeds and at Dilston Grove in London.

Her work has been selected for numerous international photography festivals including the Nooderlicht festival in Holland, and the Format09 festival in Derby, UK, and published in art and photography magazines such as Next Level, Ojodopez and the British Journal of Photography.

Nicola’s photography career began in her native New Zealand, shooting features, portraits and covers for national magazines. She has traveled widely, including commissions to document the work of various charities in places such as Tanzania, East Timor, Uganda and Peru.

Nicola has been based in London since 2002. Alongside producing her own work for exhibition, she also works in the film industry, shooting stills for films such as Enduring Love, Brideshead Revisited, and In The Loop.
